Owura Kwadwo Hottish, a teacher in Ghana has become a social media sensation recently after posting several photos on Facebook of himself teaching Microsoft Word to his students using only chalk and a blackboard. This goes to show how creative, passionate and determined this young African teacher is about breaking down Microsoft word package to his student in the best possible way without the actual software.

The photos show him replicating the entire UI of the program to teach his students about it even though they have no access to a computer in the classroom. “Teaching of ICT in Ghana’s school is very funny,” he wrote in the post accompanying the photos. “ICT on the board paa. I love ma students so have to do wat will make them understand Wat am teaching.”

His original Facebook post has been shared extensively by many individuals and media outlets home and abroad.

This young African teacher drawing was so detailed about Microsoft word that the students can actually understand the subject without seeing the software on a physical computer. His ingenious strategy is commendable and shows that you can still teach IT without today’s technology if you actually knows what you’re doing, This young man must be extremely knowledgeable on the subject

Since Government in that region can not provide computers to IT students due to mass corruption within the government, this genius of a man define a new strategy not to deny the kids what kids of their age are learning around the world. Simply Genius.
