Harry and Meghan first appearance as married couple at Charles’ 70th birthday
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made their first appearance as a married couple today in a garden party at Buckingham Palace in a matter of just days after their wedding of the century ceremony.
Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in the gardens of the palace in London with the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall for Prince Charles’ 70th birthday celebration. although the actual birthday is not until November later this year like prince harry joked in his speech that you can celebrate your birthday six months earlier if you are royal
They are attending an event to celebrate Charles’ charitable work and association with military regiments and units. Meghan look majestic and a true royal in her elegant cream colour dress as she held on to her prince charming.
But the couple made sure to keep Prince Charles at the forefront of the event, celebrating his birthday today
Instead of jetting off on honeymoon, the new royal couple are throwing themselves into work right away, no time to waste – and already have a number of official events planned for the summer starting from Dublin and probably Netherlands as well.The new Duchess of Sussex, wearing a dress by Goat and hat by Philip Treacy. The dress is officially priced at £590, but Meghan’s had been personally tailored to fit the Duchess. It was reported that the firm’s website reportedly crashed shortly after the photos of the Duchess emerged due to the number of people searching the website for the dress.
The Duchess of Sussex appeared in high spirits as she smiled and chatted with guests at Buckingham Palace garden party while Harry even gave a speech at the birthday party for his dad, paying tribute to Prince Charles for his “selfless drive to affect change”.
Speaking to the crowd of thousands, he said: “In my mind this event sums up your approach to work.
At the end of the speech he joked about his Dad Prince Charles celebrating his birthday six months earlier than the time, saying this is what you do when you are royal. He puts the crowd in a nice mood and all laughed at his joke which is quite good.
