Kechi Okwuchi, one of the two survivors of the 2005 Sosoliso Plane Crash that killed 60 young students of Loyola Jesuit College, Abuja, made a wow audition with her amazing performance at America’s Got Talent 2017 edition.
In her introduction, she talked about how she fell in love with music on a hospital bed plastered all over and couldn’t move after experiencing a plane crash to which only 2 people survived.
In 2005, the ill-fated Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145 coming from Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja crashed and erupted in flames at the Port Harcourt International Airport killing 107 passengers out of 109.

Kelechi was able to share her voice on America’s Got Talent after she underwent several surgeries through pain and her solace in family and music.

She graduated with a First Class degree from University of Thomas Houston, Texas on May 16th, 2015. Not only that, she was inducted into 6 academic honor societies, was the most Outstanding student for her major in Economics and has already been accepted into graduate school for her MBA. She was also chosen to give the commencement address to the class of 2015 at her school.
She is absolutely outstanding in everything and every way and beautiful as well. She never let the horror of that accident deprived her of her dreams and goals.
