An Oklahoma middle school teacher was arrested for raping one of her students multiple times — including before and after a teacher walkout at the state Capitol.
Keri Hoffman, 35, was arrested Sunday after she confessed to having a sexual relationship with the 15-year-old boy.
The teacher who teaches algebra reportedly drove with her husband to the Clinton Police Department, where she narrated how using Facebook messenger to communicate with the teenager and make plans to meet up for sex.
She allegedly admitted to having sex with the boy multiple times starting from March the 30th. The illegal encounters allegedly took place sometimes inside the teacher’s car and her father’s detached garage.
Hoffman also said the pair had sex twice on the day of the statewide walkout to pressure lawmakers to find more money for public education. They had sex before she took the boy to the Capitol and again before dropping him off at his home later that evening.
She was booked into the Custer County Jail for facilitating sexual conduct or communication with a minor by use of technology, two counts of second-degree rape, and pattern of criminal offences.
