Hao Lina, a police officer has won the hearts of millions across the world after breastfeeding a 4-month-old baby of a suspect in China.

Ms Hao who is a nursing mother herself said the baby mother has given her permission to nurse her infant while she attends trial. The baby was left in her care and her colleagues during the trial.

The office said the  4 months old child was crying uncontrollable, she tried everything but the baby will not stop crying. She said the baby mother has been away from the baby for quite some time and the only thing the baby needed was food.

The touching incident took place on September 23 at the Shanxi Jinzhong Intermediate People’s Court in central China.

The baby’s mother was charged with fraudulent fund-raising, illegally absorbing public deposit and crime concealment with 33 other

‘The baby wouldn’t stop crying and we were all worried,’ said Ms Hao. ‘I am a new mother, I could feel how anxious the child’s mother would have been. All I thought about was to try my best and comfort the tiny baby.’

According to the court, the baby’s mother, surnamed Li, was so touched by Ms Hao’s behaviour she couldn’t help but cry after leaving the court.

Commenting on the praises she had received from the public, a humble Ms Hao said: ‘I believe every police officer would do the same.

If I had been the mother, I would have hoped someone would help my baby.

The picture went viral on the internet and Ms Hao good deed was loved by millions who thought what she did was policing at its very best.

A police officer in full uniform in a court house breastfeeding a suspect’s child who is attending trial for fraud against the state, is pure woman’s instinct and love, the love for a child, the feminine side of the officer that transcends the criminal activities of the baby mother.

That is classic and Ms Hao thoroughly deserved all the praise and attention she received.
