On Sunday Grace Mugabe said at a church meeting that she has told her husband to hand power to her, she said she is now ready to take the mantle and the ageing president should not be scared to do so.
In recent developments, disisafrica gathers that vice president who is now an ex-vice-president has fallen out of favour with Mugabe, and we all know what the consequence of that is in Mugabe’s own Zimbabwe, Many thought he will be a natural successor to Mugabe because he has been his ally since independence in 1980.
On Monday, Mugabe sacked the vice president Emmerson Mnangagwa paving way for his wife.

Same thing also happining across the border in South Africa.

Zimbabwe’s sacked vice president Emmerson Mnangagwa said Wednesday he had fled the country because of “incessant threats” to his family as he issued a direct challenge to long-ruling President Robert Mugabe and his wife Grace.
Telling them that ‘The ruling ZANU-PF “is not personal property of you and your wife to do as you please,” Mnangagwa said in an angry five-page statement, vowing he would return to Zimbabwe to lead party members.
In a statement obtained by the AP, Mnangagwa said he was safe where he fled to but did not disclose his location. “I will be communicating with you soon and shall return to Zimbabwe to lead you,” the statement read.
“This is now a party controlled by undisciplined, egotistical and self-serving minnows who derive their power not from the people and party but from only two individuals in the form of the First Family,” he said.

Mnangagwa was the leading contender to succeed Mugabe, 93, but his abrupt removal appeared to clear the way for the president’s wife Grace to take over as president.
Mrs Mugabe indicated on Sunday that necessary laws will be changed to facilitate her becoming a successor to her husband.
Such laws are still not clear since she wasn’t even born in Zimbabwe her self which makes it nearly impossible to walk straight up the throne in Zimbabwe without changing the existing laws. But anything is possible with a husband who rules the country like his personal property.

Mnangagwa had been one of the president’s closet allies since Mugabe took power in 1980 after leading the fight against British rule but has fallen out of favour with the dictator.
This is vintage Mugabe and has not come as a surprise. Over the weekend, during the Youth Interface Rally, which took place in the second largest city, Bulawayo, Robert Mugabe lashed out at the former Vice President after youths attending the rally booed the First Lady Grace Mugabe.
The behaviour angered Mugabe, who told Mnangagwa to go and form his own political party together with his supporters.“Some people have arranged to send persons to boo my wife, the first lady tells the truth and we can’t continue to remain silent. What sin did I commit to appoint Mnangagwa as my Vice President? If I committed a sin I can fire him, even tomorrow. If he wants to start his own party let him do so with his supporters,” said Mugabe in his speech at the rally.

He was sacked on Monday after the bitter clash with the president and his wife Grace, with Mugabe’s spokesman accusing him of “disloyalty, disrespect, deceitfulness and unreliability”.
On Wednesday, President Mugabe gave a bizarre different reason for sacking his vice president, he said he fired his deputy and long time ally for scheming to take power by consulting with witch doctors.
Mugabe, the world’s oldest head of state, is due to stand in elections again next year or to just step aside for his wife to take over affairs of the nation.
There have been growing concern and worries about the continuous rule of Mugabe in Zimbabwe within international community and Zimbabwean in diaspora.

Zimbabwean in England begging Mugabe to go
The country which used to be a food basket of Africa now begs for food, half of the youth population have ran across the border to neighbouring country South Africa before finding their way to the Western World, mostly the UK.
Many families have been destroyed by Mugabe’s and Mnangagwa administration, Families have lost bread winners, female turning to prostitution and farm taken over from white farmers were never really put into any meaningful use while the people are hungry.

There have been a massive increased influx of Zimbabweans into South Africa, some risking their lives illegally crossing through the dangerously flooded Limpopo river which is also full of Crocodiles.
South African authorities are believed to have retrieved several bodies from the river and rescued some individuals that were later handed over to the Immigration Department for deportation
In view of this some Zimbabwe’s citizen took over the embassy few weeks back chanting songs for him to step down, his pictures were taken down from the wall. The peaceful demonstration or protest was later dispersed by the British police.

How on earth is a 93 year old man able to hold a whole nation of some intellectuals to ransom like that is a misery. There is no doubt that Mugabe had his qualities but that time was long gone and his qualities and ambition has no relevant to modern day Africa and Africans
Zimbabwe need to wake up, Africa need to wake up and say enough is enough of all these corrupt leaders across the continent to move aside. what an irony Mugabe is 93 very much closer to the grave than anything else, so also is the former vice president who is 80 years of age.
These two men shouldn’t even be in power in the first place at their age, they are trading away the future of Zimbabwe new generation, an are completely out of touch with modern governance and morality.
